Model description

A set of elements for the construction of a Wankel engine, i.e. an engine with a rotary piston. The complex model reflects the work of the piston in the cylinders and the change in the volume of the chambers formed inside the body, which allows you to observe the principle of engine operation.

The model will be especially useful in physics and technology classes.

 

Model elements

The set consists of 10 elements prepared in separate files for printing.

Among the files to be printed you will find:

Wankel engine 1 - includes housing, 2 pegs and elements for assembling the shaft

Wankel engine 2 - includes a gear wheel, a rotor and remaining elements for assembling the shaft

Dimensions of the model after assembling (XYZ): approx. 150 x 135 x 35 mm.

Printing time: Wankle engine 1 - 13h 43 min. // Wankle engine 2 - 8h 47 min.

Filament quantity: 362 g for all elements.

Recommended filament type: SkriPLA / PLA.
