Description of the model

A set of puzzles with simple chemical compounds used to teach the formation of more elaborate compounds of inorganic chemistry. The set can also be used as an illustration of tasks noted in the notebooks and as a part of activities and classroom puzzles.

The model will be especially useful in chemistry classes.

 

Elements of the model

The set includes 109 elements that can be combined with each other. To make the set easier to print, the files have been grouped into so-called plates.

 

Among the printable files you will find:

(C, Si) +IV, (N, PO3, PO4. BO3, PO4) -III - in the amount of: C+IV - 1, Si+IV - 1, N-III - 1, PO3-III - 1, PO4-III -2. BO3-III - 1;

(Cl, CN, Br, I, OH, F, CN) -I -in the amount of: Cl-I - 8, CN-I - 2, Br-I - 3, I-I, OH-I - 3, F-I - 3, CN-I - 3;

(Cl, P) +V, (Ti, S, N, Mn) +IV - one of each;

(ClO3, CN, SCN, NO2, NO3, BrO4, IO4, ClO4, N3) -I - in the amount of: ClO3-I -3, CN-I - 2, SCN-I - 2, NO2-I - 3, NO3-I - 3, BrO4-I - 2, IO4-I -2, ClO4-I -3, N3-I - 2;

(Fe, Al, P, As, B, Cl, Cr) +III - one of each;

(H, Cs, Li, Cl, Cu, Ag, K, Na) +I - in the amount of: H+I - 6, Cs+I - 2, Li+I - 2, Cl+I - 2, Cu+I - 2, Ag+I - 2, Na+I - 3, K+I - 3;

O, CO3, SiO3, SO4, Se, Te, SO3, S) -II - in the amount of O-II - 3 and one each of the remaining;

(Pb, Ca. Mg, Cu, Be, Ba, B, Sn, Zn, Cd, Mn, Fe, C) +II - in the amount of: Ca+II - 2 and one each of the remaining.

 

Technical data

Model size (XYZ): individual puzzle piece - between 36 x 16 x 5,5 mm and 31 x 66 x 5,5 mm.

Printing time: plates - between 4 h 21 min and 6 h; all puzzles: 41 h 16 min.

Filament quantity: all puzzles: 477 g.

Recommended filament type: SkriPLA / PLA.
