EDIT: I finally got some time to paint them up. I'm pretty happy with the result.EDIT (3/21/18) Reworked the Rogue One crate to adjust the scale of the middle section, and the re-do some of the details. I put it up as V2.** EDIT: (5/12/18) Added a generic "imperial" barricade using wall sections of the Imperial Bunkers model. I've been working on building out terrain for the new upcoming tabletop miniatures game Star Wars Legion. I started this by making a couple crates to use as background terrain, and the project got a little out of control. I searched books and image search for star wars related crates then created them as close as I could, keeping in mind that they are pretty tiny. Crate 1 - seen in numerous background scenes in SWCrate 2 - based on the Scan Tech box that they use to scan the Falcon in the Death Star hanger.Crate 3 - Inspired by a design I found online.Crate 4 - Seen often in Star Wars Rebels.Crate 5 - seen in Rogue One movie, for Kyber Crystal storage.Crate 6 - seen in factory levels in Battle Front IIBarrel 1 - Star Wars rebels again.Barrel 2 - found next to the Lars homestead in Episode 4.Ammo Crate 1 - Just something I put together to have a low profile crate for the barricades. Barricades 1-4Then using the Crates, and Barrels I created a few "Barricade" type pieces of terrain. I figure since the main game comes with boring barricades, I wanted to upgrade them with something a bit more in flavor of the world. I put together the crates and barrels in somewhat arbitrary configurations to provide some cover for my Rebel Troopers while they blast the bucket heads back to the death star. I've painted a few of these, and they are fun to paint. I usually prime them with a base primer of white or tan. Then I just apply thin coats of paint in a single color nothing too bright, with a black or brown wash over the top to finish and make them look a bit grungy. Enjoy! Here are some of the areas that I've enjoyed making models in for games I like, or want to play. Gaslands I've created lots of weapons, and terrain for this awesome game. I see lots of room for creative additions that interest me. Frostgrave/Mordheim/Rangers of Shadow Deep I love this type of tabletop fantasy skirmish war-gaming, where you can set up a quick table and play a fun game with miniatures. I've got a lot of ideas for more terrain here. There are plenty of great games out there that could use this type of terrain. This is Not A Test Mutants/Wasteland/Survival! Yes, I love this Fallout inspired game, and want to build out terrain for my table to play. (If I could find people to play that is) Tabletop Board games I've actually published a couple games so far, and plan to keep designing board games. You can find my game Dice of Crowns, and the sequel Dice of Pirates on Thing12Games.com and Amazon.com. I love board games! I like making upgrades, and additions for games I play, as well creating my own. D&D/Dice Collecting I am an avid fan of dice. I love dice. I collect all sorts of dice for fun. I've created a number of "dice accessories" for the collector, and player. I also run a D&D game with my son and his friends so I have ideas for supporting that hobby too. I even created a set of unique polyhedral printable dice. I've done a lot of research into 3D printable dice and fairness as well. As you can see... I've got lots of ideas. Too many sometimes. I make models of the things that interest me, and share them with people. I love seeing people print and enjoy the models I make. Badger http://patreon.com/sablebadger
