The sculptor Alcamenes was active in Athens from 430 to 400 BC. One of his creations is teh Hecate Epipyrgidia (Hecate on the Acropolis), a threefold figure of the goddess. Hecate is the goddess with power over moments of transistion, such as the birth of a child. She was also associated with forks in the road, cemeteries, and city gates. On the Acropolis, she marked the transition from the sacred hill to the rest of the city. Statue of HecateMarble, from Italy, 50-100 AD, after an original by Alcamenes, 430-420 BC. From the collection of Peter Paul Rubens; bequest of Gerard van Papenbroek (1673-1743). The sculpture stands in the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in Leiden, The Netherlands. I printed it with supports to be sure it came out nice. The stl was made through photogrammetry.
