This is a part of my cheap smart home series. This box houses a lot of smart home at once. I needed a way to house two Wemos D1 mini to control a WS2812B LED-Strip and a clap sensor as well as a temperature sensor. Everything is held in place with a single screw. The remaining parts are glued or locked Left Wemos D1 mini The left Wemos D1 mini is flashed with McLighting (a awesome project that allows you to control your LED-Strip via a web interface with lots of preprogrammed animations) and controls the LED-Strip Right Wemos D1 mini The right Wemos D1 mini runs a self-written arduino code. The code checks the signal from clap sensor (in the middle) and measures the room temperature every two minutes. The results are send to my smart home server via MQTT. So if someone claps the light turns on or off and the temperature information helps my thermostate project Clap Sensor  The Clap Sensor works really reliable once calibrated. However the amplification wasn't quite strong enough, so to get a range of multiple metres I added those "ears". Now the range easily covers a big room. Now the sensor is even sensible enough the recognize the small pressure wave of a door getting closed a couple rooms away. So I guess it's a door sensor as well ^^ Temperature sensor The temperature sensor is just a resistive thermocouple I salvaged from an old thermometer. Power The power for the project is provided via the black cable at the bottom. I chose an old PC power supply to supply the 5V for everything.   Hardware: Wemos D1 mini Clap sensor thermocouple  WS2812B LED-Strip powerful 5V power supply I don't know how I'm able or if I should upload the arduino code. I wrote it myself and to be honest it is pretty terrible, but it works. Im a beginner in programming. If it is requested I will upload the code, but be sure to see a mess :D I tested the design for several months and never had a failure. So I am pretty confident to say that it is very reliable.
