This scan is of the crown on the old water fountain next to the church of St Thomas the Martyr in Monmouth, South Wales (just over the old bridge from the car park at the bottom of the town). As you can see in the photos, it was erected in 1897 so is from the Victorian jubilee of that year. The jubilee celebrated 60 years of Queen Victoria on the UK throne and was widely celebrated, often through erecting monuments such as this one. I used the excellent Sony 3DCreator app on my Xperia XZ2 phone to scan the crown, so it doesn't contain small details, largely because the crown doesn't have much surface texture for use with photogrammetry scanning methods. However, I think it did a very good job of representing the shape and form to record the crown for posterity (and of course some fun 3D printing). The print in the photos was made with a Monoprice Mini SLA printer as resing printing helped ensure details weren't lost, especially after painting.
