This Puzzle Box dispenses a standard (non-embossed) Gift Card. Box size is 120mm x 62.5mm. It is as fun to construct as it is to solve. The Model uses Slide locks which allows the model to be easilly dismantled if the Gift Card or locking mecanism fails.(Or the receiver of the Puzzle Box is too frustrated to solve) It requires 8 Actions to dispense the Gift Card. The Puzzle Box can be returned to its original "mysterious" beginnings with the assistance of the Reset Pin, and resetting of the Gears and one button . 3 STLs containing all 23 pieces must be assembled to whom the Puzzle's secrets will be revealed. Tell the Gift Card Receiver to start with spinning the Four Gears to unlock one of the buttons below. Thoren's Gift Card Puzzle Box (Easy/Novice Level) STLs (Usage and Completion Time based on Bambu Labs A1 Mini) This build requires 3 elastics, 31+ metres of Filament, and around 3.5hrs Print Time. STL 3 can be Printed a different color to allow Gears and Buttons stand out. PuzzleBox1.stl (2 pieces) - .4mm Nozzle .20mm Layer Height or smaller, No Supports required - Filament 8.5m 25.5g, 49mins PuzzleBox2.stl (2 pieces) - .4mm Nozzle .20mm Layer Height or smaller, Requires Tree Supports with 15% Angle - Filament 11m 32g, 1hr:22min PuzzleBox_3.stl (19 pieces) - .4mm Nozzle .12mm Layer Height or smaller, Requires Tree Supports 15% Angle, and recommend Outer Brim - Filament 11m 33g, 1hr:25min NOTE: The STL Models may display some artifacts from revision builds, but will not appear in Print RECOMMEND: Allow pieces to cool to room temperature on printers Heatbed before removing to avoid warping A .2mm Space Allowance / Tolerance was used for the .4mm Nozzle Print Note: Restricting the size to a minimum, dissappointingly restricted the Gears movements to reveal ALL letters of the Gear. My pet peeve of this model. Functioning buttons using elastics used instead of magnets shouldn’t be in the presence of Gift Cards.
