We have a nice pretty lighted star to top our tree, but it just had a small cone to try to hold it on top of the tree, and after falling off one too many times, the cone snapped right off. There are holes for opening the sides of the star up if one of the LEDs needs to be replaced, so I designed and printed a new holder in TinkerCAD. It fits various tree top shapes better and more securely than the cone ever did.  Printed in natural clear PETG, it looks frosty and nice, and should serve for years to come. My original tracing of the outline of the star and design sketch is included, although I tweaked several measurements after the initial test fit, so the numbers are no longer accurate. The topper holder prints without needing supports. I think I used 20% infill and it is plenty strong. The center post fits where the cone broke off, and the two arms slide into the holes. All three are clear hot-glued in place. I wasn't going to upload at first, as this seems pretty specific to this one repair/fix. But after thinking about it, this may be useful to someone who wants to re-mix it for a tree topper of their own design (maybe someone will sponsor a tree-topper design contest) or for a similar repair.
