This set of models is a modular walkway and tower system for Star Wars Legion, and other sci-fi wargames. It's scaled to 32mm currently. I designed it to be customizable in lots of different ways for whatever your wargame needs. You should be able to get quite a few different layouts and set ups with these parts. TOWER COMPONENTSThe towers come in 3 sections, with two flavors. With Ladder, or No Ladder. The top of each has 4 slots to attach walkways, and four pegs to line up the next tower piece.Pieces Base. for the bottom of the tower.Center. a simple workhorse piece. Print more than one to make your towers taller.Top. this has outward flanges to indicate the top of the tower.TOWER TOPS/CAPS/PLATFORMSThere are number of small platforms and caps to top off the top unit depending on your taste. There is also a Watchtower Lookout platform that has enough room for a whole squad, and a roof that sits on top. WALKWAYSThese come in two different styles, in both 100mm and 150mm lengths. IMPORTANT!! The key end of the walkway should fit snugly in the slot, so I have provided two different sizes.A - Snug FitB - Looser Fit Print a small test piece first before printing your walkways. I have provided the model Small Platform in both A and B to test out. This way you don't waste a lot of filament, and the platform that fits can be used in your set up. The walkway should fit into the slot snugly and be flush with the top. this allows the tower pieces to stack nicely and allow for more walkways to be added in other directions. UPDATE 5/2/18 - Added a version of Base, Center and Top with Ladder that has openings for Magnets on the top. I used D41 1/4" dia. x 1/16" thick from K&J Magnetics for this. The bottom of the center and top models has a space to insert a metal thumbtack (.39" or 10mm heads) you can find in most office supply stores or at work). You can find them under the name: "Imperial Watchtower center module magnet ladder" in the files section. UPDATE: 5/7/18 - added a version of the larger platform with barricades on four sides for cover. UPDATE: 5/11/18 - By request I modified a module to allow putting a Comm Tower and Dish on the assembly. I included two versions of the center block with Comm tower, ad one where you can simply mount the whole model with the standard four pegs. Also included is the Comm Dish, which is the same as my other model just for convenience. Here are some of the areas that I've enjoyed making models in for games I like, or want to play. Gaslands I've created lots of weapons, and terrain for this awesome game. I see lots of room for creative additions that interest me. Frostgrave/Mordheim/Rangers of Shadow Deep I love this type of tabletop fantasy skirmish war-gaming, where you can set up a quick table and play a fun game with miniatures. I've got a lot of ideas for more terrain here. There are plenty of great games out there that could use this type of terrain. This is Not A Test Mutants/Wasteland/Survival! Yes, I love this Fallout inspired game, and want to build out terrain for my table to play. (If I could find people to play that is) Tabletop Board games I've actually published a couple games so far, and plan to keep designing board games. You can find my game Dice of Crowns, and the sequel Dice of Pirates on Thing12Games.com and Amazon.com. I love board games! I like making upgrades, and additions for games I play, as well creating my own. D&D/Dice Collecting I am an avid fan of dice. I love dice. I collect all sorts of dice for fun. I've created a number of "dice accessories" for the collector, and player. I also run a D&D game with my son and his friends so I have ideas for supporting that hobby too. I even created a set of unique polyhedral printable dice. I've done a lot of research into 3D printable dice and fairness as well. As you can see... I've got lots of ideas. Too many sometimes. I make models of the things that interest me, and share them with people. I love seeing people print and enjoy the models I make. Badger http://patreon.com/sablebadger
