A long time ago I printed a round lithophane and I didn't like the fact that I couldn't see the entire lithophane, so I decided to make a rotating lithophane lamp so that you could see all of your pictures on your lithophane.    BOM and code/schematics - bottom bearing 1x ABEC 1 - stepper motor 1x - tmc2208 1x - arduino pro mini 1x 5v/16mhz - brass inserts m3 - 3mm and 5mm length -12v power supply  1x -12v female plug 1x - white led strip I used regular white   - 8x m3x16 screw - upper to upper lithophane holder and led holder to bottom - 4x m3x10 screw motor mount to led holder - 4x m3x8 screw - motor to motor mount - a few passive components, look in the schematic for them.   Because the leds where getting to hot, I added an resistor between 12v and the leds. In the foto I used 4 100 ohm resistors in parrelel to form an 1W 25ohm resistor. I updated the pcb with an 1W resistor, the 1/4W resistor was getting to hot. You could use a lower resistor value, but please check that the led holder doesn't melt with the leds getting to hot.   - tmc2208 library - code - schematic and pcb   Lithophane info I created the lithophane with lithophanemaker.com with an radius of 65mm and 4mm for the base witdh/height. I used ledge interface and entered the lowest possible values, so when you are slicing your lithophane, you only get the round lithophane. Depending on the height of your lithophane, I added several led holder files with the height they can be used for. If you want a different height for your lithophane, feel free to send a message/comment.
