Phil Struder is your potential new printing friend! He has a big smile and a face full of gears :) He will put a smile on your face, while visualizing your extruder motor's movements with his eyes and nose. (Which appart from being visually pleasing, lets you monitor that your extruder is behaving like it should.) Here is a short video showing Phil Struder in action: https://archive.org/details/PhilStruder201901 This model is easy to print and makes use of Prusa's fun ColorPrint feature in Slic3rPE / PrusaControl. You will need to superglue a Ø8x3mm* magnet to one of the parts, but the rest just snap/press together. The whole thing clicks onto the extruder motor and can easily be removed again. Please read the Printing tips section below. Feel free to modify Phil Struder! I have included the OpenSCAD source code (philstruder.scad) and I have tried my best to make it all very parameterized. I have also written a lot of comments in the code, so it should be pretty easy to understand what is happening and modify it. If you have trouble, please write a comment, I will try to help! If you prefer to work in another CAD program, you can of course also just modify my STL-files.    I hope we will se remixes of Phil Struder! You could make extra decorations for him, like a hat, or you could modify the files to give him ears, a long nose, hair or whatever you dream of! Maybe you can even create new members of the Struder family? Like brothers, sisters, parents, children? Or maybe just create a cyclops?   Thank you MyMiniFactory and Prusa Research for this great contest! :)   *: If you don't have an Ø8 mm magnet, but Ø4 or something like that, take at look in the phil_struder.scad file. I have made some magnet-adapters. They don't work as well as the Ø8 magnet, but they should work okay. You can try :)
