MontanaMaskCPAP2pieceNoSupportsV1 - Print both pieces then bond the tube into the hole in the mask (Super glue should work). Push round adapter from outside of mask until it is flush with the inside surface when bonding. Model should print with no supports if positioned with flat part on bed of printer. A standard 19mm (3/4") single use CPAP bacterial filter should fit into the adapter. MontanaMaskCPAPRetrofitAdapterV1 - This adapter will allow you to retrofit an original MontanaMask to accept a standard 19mm (3/4") single use CPAP filter. You will need to bond the piece into the original mask you are adapting (Super glue should work). If you have printed the original mask in a reduced size you will need to reduce the size of the adapter to match. Print the piece with the flat side on bed of printer. MontanaMaskTallFilterCubeCircles_V1 - This insert will allow for the use of alternate filter materials that have less breathability than standard N95 surgical masks and therefore require more surface area for proper breathability. The Halyard H600 Two Ply Spun Polypropylene material normally used to surround sterile surgical instruments is the intended material (however others may exist). In order to account for the increased thickness of the material (two layers to get equivalent N95+ filtration) it is suggested to print this cube at 97% of the model size. If you are using a thinner or thicker filter medium you will need to adjust the print size of the model to accommodate. The filter is intended to be inserted from the inside of the mask and should fit snugly by the time the support cube is fully inserted through the mask and extra material trimmed off inside the face mask. If the fit is not snug gaps could occur. The Fits for the circular adapters for the CPAP filters into the mating parts are quite tight on purpose and may require some finishing of the parts to get them to fit together. Prototypes were printed with PLA @ 20% infil. Parts are presented AS-IS and are not guaranteed to provide safety. Proper precautions, preparations and safety evaluations are the responsibility of the end user.
