Remixed from Thingiverse STL by reducing triangles, remeshing and converting to Brep and offsetting faces/rescaling in Fusion 360. It's not perfect but it works! See my Instagram for demo https://www.instagram.com/p/CL1UcO5DaTm/   I'm using this as a functional item to set things in vise and adjust by knocking, driving press fit things by gently hammering.   I tested this with two prints: 1 - Carbon Fiber, single piece. Turned out fine. Printed sideways to give maximum tensile strength and impact resistance to handle. Cleaning wasn't difficult.   2 - I split model into two pieces and cut threads into both pieces. Now you can print them as two pieces. Head was carbon fiber PLA, handle was black PETG. Handled was printed laying down on a 4 layer raft with supports. Cleaning the threads took time but the strength is well worth it.   Printing recommendations: Use modifier objects and place half a CM rectangular blocks on impact side of the mallet and set infill to %100 rectilinear. Handle and rest of material can be %40. This cost me less than 100g overall per print because I didn't do %100 for everything.   Adding a sample Prusa Slicer (v2.3.0) project, I recommend to download and see the sample settings. Thread fit was analyzed on Fusion360 and turned out to be fine at first print. Either use lube to screw it in place, otherwise if you are worried that it might come out, use soap foam as lube to put it in place, then rinse it through the tiny gap, you are good to go. I tried soap method, it was good.   PS: Don't mind the white spots in the photos, I sandpaper all carbon fiber prints as they feel prickly even with smooth prints.

Important update: I release and update models frequently. Sometimes new versions don't appear in the zip bundled by MMF as all objects require review and approval. If you look at "Object Parts" piece, you will see and be able to download parts which aren't included in ZIP yet. I only release my models after successfully printing them. If I'm not happy with the model or its basic function, I won't release it. Sometimes I put slicing screenshots with tips, keep an eye on description and comment on the model if anything is not clear :) Click on "website" to follow me on Instagram for latest free models and videos of the models. MMF doesn't support upload of videos.
