This is a deliberately short and simple tabletop game intended to teach small children the basics of board games. My son’s developmental pediatrician suggested simple board games to practice sharing, rules, and turns. In this game, players take turns rolling a six-sided die to move across the board. Once an ‘obstacle tile’ is reached, the player stops and immediately rolls again to try and meet the requirement of the obstacle. If successful, the player advances the number of tiles equal to the success roll, all still in the same turn. A roll that fails to reach an obstacle, or meet an obstacle’s requirement, ends the turn. The three ‘obstacle tiles’ are of incrementing difficulty and should be placed that way when creating the board. The mountain tile should be encountered first. It requires a roll greater than 3 to pass. The forest tile should be encountered second. It can be passed by rolling 2 or 4. The dragon tile is last, requiring a 6 to pass. The ending game tile should be 6 or less tiles beyond the dragon. Instead of painting, I use sugar, or flour to fill in the number cavities of each obstacle tile. We are playing with some Dutchmogul minis, printed at 28mm scale.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1394097https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1394139 A special thanks to Loubie, Nevaneva, Gluetolf and JAWong for the dragon, tail, mountain and trees. Because of you, making this game required very little effort.   Follow all of my various hobbies at https://johnpbishop.com   Flashforge Creator Pro - https://amzn.to/3vBnwcg Hatchbox PLA - https://amzn.to/3Qid6pV
