About: After playing around in blender with different shapes I decided to print and submit this nice guy. The design is straight forward and if you like you can fork your own design with the source files. Of course not for commercial use. How-to print: The shade itself is supposed to get printed in vase mode, the inner nut (orange part) in common mode.  Keep in mind to disable the bottom layer in your slicer. No one needs a closed lampshade :( Also the model has to be upscaled 100x depending on your slicers interpreting. Prusa slicer shows for example 2,0 mm y axis so scale it to 200 mm (all axes locked) Assembly: The set is based on an E27 socket with an outside thread and at least one nut (on the top) which is usually shipped with the socket. Just screw the conic part (mutter.stl) inside the shade until the socket appears a few millimeters underneath the nut. Now fix the shade with the top nut until it has no more play. Some side notes: WARNING: use the shade only for LED bulbs which have a low heat waste. Rule of thumb: Don't use bulbs that you can't touch w/o burn your fingers while switched on for a while. The shade fits on a 200x200 mm print bed like the prusa mk3. Design notes for nerds: I've used the hardOps tool set from blendermarket in "twist 360" mode to make the shape based on one stripe. The setup is also none destructive based. The nut is made with freeCad and based on a m40 thread with a pitch of 2,4 mm.
