This mod provides a tool-less way to quickly adjust the height of the portafilter arms on a Kafatek Monolith coffee grinder. It also allows the arms to tilt downwards at the bottom of the adjustment range to give extra clearance with the grounds spout for taller grounds catch containers. Hot glue gun is recommended for assembly. Requires several additional parts which can be purchased from amazon for ~$20: 3d Printer bed leveling springs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2K9B8D1 M6 x 80mm boltshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N91YP3N 1/4 x 1/2 x 3/16 Bearingshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCNDW9JR   Assembly: 1) Remove m6 bolts which secure the arms to the vertical supports. 2) Clean the ends of the arms which contact the vertical supports, test fit the arm spacers on the ends of the arms. They only fit in one direction, the tapered part of the spacer should be installed facing the ground to allow the arms to tilt downwards. 3) Put a small dab of hot glue on the arm spacers and affix them to the arms. The hot glue helps with installation and keeps the spacers from separating when the arms tilt, but it is not required for the mod to work. 4) Bearings should be press fit onto the printed pegs on the rockers. 2 bearings per side. No adhesive or fasteners required. 5) Thread the M6x80 bolt through the spring seat, spring, and rocker. The curved part of the rocker should be facing up. Push the bolt through the vertical support and thread into the portafilter arm. 6) Once both sides are secure, use an allen wrench to turn the M6 bolts until the desired tension in the arms is reached. Use the minimum tension to keep the portafilter secure. The arms should be able to move freely up and down the vertical supports   BE AWARE: The bearings are a hard metal surface which will be in contact with the rear of the vertical supports. It is possible that they can damage the finish on the rear of the arms.
