Hi I made this set of building blocks to all the 3D-printer owners that like to experiment and play with exiting new ways to put things together. When I was a child, I loved to play with the Danish ‘Tekno’ engineering toy (similar to the English/French  ‘Meccano’ toy). I could build fantastic cranes, tractors and other exiting mechanical stuff. I was also able to experiment with my own ideas without any help from the instruction manuals. Later I used the BILOfix toy (also Danish), because I then could build bigger things. I suppose that I thought that ‘bigger is better’ at that time. Many, many years later I got my own 3D-printer (a BIBO FDM-printer) and started to think if I could use the new fantastic possibilities to make my own building kit. I had some new ideas about how to connect the building blocks in a strong, stable and still flexible way. Another criteria was to be able to use standard plastic pipes and filament to make it easy to build big and yet cheap constructions. After quite a lot of sketching, I modelled the building blocks in SolidWorks and printed them successively. Many attempts and tests later, I have fulfilled most of my wishes and am proud to present the He-Ideas building set. I have played and experimented a lot with it and still find new ways to combine the many blocks. He-Ideas
'He-Ideas' is a toy engineering building set. You can combine the building blocks (75+) in many many ways. I have made this so you can explore a lot of different mechanical elements. The collection is quite big and is still expanding, hopefully with new ideas from you. - My name is Bjørn Heide I am an 67 year young mechanical engineer and inventor
