This model serves two purposes: 1) I bought my girlfriend a fire pit table for Christmas - it was on her list... don't ask me - and while I wanted her to be able to "open" this huge gift on Christmas morning, I was not about to setup a fire pit in the middle of the living room! So... I created this little model of the table and wrapped that up for her to open. 2) Since I was making the model anyway, I thought it might make a good prop for gaming. I see a lot of 28mm model on here, and while I don't play, I do like the models. I tried to model this based on a 1/60th scale, which is what I was told that 28 mm was over on reddit. Several things... I created two different versions of the legs. You can either print the legs all as one assembly, or you can print the legs and the retaining ring individually and glue it together. Unless you are printing this on a resin printer, I highly recommend the multi-piece option. As you can see from the photos, it (the one on the left) prints a whole lot better. At 28mm scale, this was much too small to be used as a gift prop, so I scaled everything up 175% in Cura before printing. As you can see, it scales up nicely. Down... probably not so much. The lid is removable, or you can glue it in place - either way, it's up to you. I think it came out pretty nice. I you happen to print this on a resin printer, I would love to see what that looks like. Still trying to talk myself into splurging :)

In case anyone is curious as to why there is a hot pepper embossed into most of my designs... My nickname is Pepper and that little pepper logo is a hell of a lot shorter than "Copyright © 2017 by Derek J.G.
