I have designed a runout sensor for use on an ender 3, specifically with the dual gear all metal extruder upgrade. a roller type micro switch should also be used. I have included pegs to keep it from slipping that are an exact fit.   Features: - ability to fit bowden tube into mount to prevent scraping of the filament which can squeak and wear down the mount. it will need to be cut to allow the sensor to touch the filament inside. - uses stock bolt hardware to bolt onto z axis mount, bolts used to hold individual parts together are M3. 6mm nuts will fit very snugly into the holes in the parts. - cable management that is able to accommodate hot end cables, BLTouch cables, filament sensor cables and stepper/limit switch cables. - direct fit with the cable chain mod available on thingiverse. additional links will be needed to achieve proper length.

I have been 3D modeling and printing since 2014, but purchased my first very own printer with textbook money in 2015 and never looked back. I am now an electrical engineer and use my printing hobby professionally, making custom devices and enclosures to go with my electrical designs. I also have been building and painting scale models since early childhood so when I'm not engineering, I use my collection of printers to make scale figures, dioramas and table top set pieces.
