These prints use the following hardware: 10-32 x 1-1/2" Hex Bolts - https://www.mcmaster.com/92314A836/ 10-32 Square Nut - https://www.mcmaster.com/94785A411/ Number 10 Washer - https://www.mcmaster.com/96659A104/ There are two versions of the knob, one version has a slot that you can insert the nut in after the print is complete, and one version that requires you pause the print and insert the nut so that the nut is captured in the print. Both knobs work identically well. The slotted knob is easier to print, the captured knob ensures the nut will never fall out. If printing the captured knob, use your slicer to add a pause on the layer just before the nut cavity is filled over. When the printer pauses simply place the nuts into the square cavity (as seen in the photos). Resume the print and the nuts are captured in the print. After the print is complete there may be one or two strands across the hole of the knob due to the overhang for the nut slot. Clean these up with a hot soldering iron, a hot nail, or an exacto blade so that it doesn't get into the thread of the nut. If printing the slotted knob, simply print, clean up any extra strands of filament, and slide the nut in. These fit into a dovetail track that is 3/8" deep, 14 degree sides, and 1/2" bottom. The Dovetail slots can be cut with: MATCHFIT MB-025-0514 Dovetail Router Bit (1/4" Shank) MATCHFIT MB-050-0514 Dovetail Router Bit (1/2" Shank) Or any 1/2" 14 degree bit These are interchangeable with the official Matchfit Dovetail Hardware.
