This is a small functional compressed-air engine. The length of the engine (cylinder V.1) without the flywheel is 55mm and the with is about 45mm (with the axle included.) The engine can run on verry low pressures. Just blowing on the inlet is enough to let it spin. At higer pressures the engine can produce a small amount of power but may fly apart if not glued together. (If tweaked well enough the engine can run without the flywheel) The timing on the cam has to be a bit less than 90* to make the engine run propperly. When the piston is at the top, the cam schould be a +- 85* behind. Just when the piston is past the apex the valve should open. When done printing you still need to do a little bit of sanding to make shure every part fits with not to much friction. Petroleum jelly (aka. vasseline) can be jused as a lubricant and to get a better seal on the valve and piston. Have fun and I hope your engine runs. :)
