The full-body figure of Christ was carved in oak wood. Christ stands in contrapposto with slender proportions, an oblong face and wavy hair reaching to his shoulders. The right forearm has been broken off. Originally, it was probably raised in the gesture of blessing. In his left hand, at hip level, Christ holds a globe – originally topped with a cross. The figure is dressed in a tunic and a cloak. A single straight fold at the front of the tunic flows down to its bottom edge. Next, there is a similar one running down from the height of the hips. A cloak is donned over the tunic, draped in deep-cut, sharp folds. The left tail is folded, pressed to the side with the left hand; below it is draped into a U-shaped fold. The lower edge of the tail is wrapped. The edge of the right tail is draped into diagonal folds. The tail is creased at the bottom, creating a dynamic ear-shaped fold. The rear surface of the sculpture is crude. There are three wide strips carved out, originally used to mount the sculpture. The middle strip runs horizontally, and the upper and lower strips run diagonally. The upper and middle cut-outs feature metal fixing clamps. The figure has not yet been studied from a historical or artistic point of view, but preliminary analyzes link it to the circle of Tilman Riemenschneider.
