This is an improved version of the improved version of the logitech c270 manual focus system. I love the way the original file was, but I want to put a led ring around the camera lens in order so have a better image on Octopi, so I edited the focuser front putting in some holes where to install my support for the led ring. The led ring I used is a 8cm external diameter, 6.4cm internal diameter and 1cm width around the ring. I bought it at the china store, so if you can find one like this you are ready to put some awesome light on your printer! I made a few pieces, so it is easier to print, and it's easy to install to. This pieces are:1. C270FocuserFrontwithholes.stl: this is the model I remixed adding the holes. It will go on the original model pieces using 2 1cm M3 screws;2. SideLED.stl: this is the support for the side of the led ring. It is small, so you will use a lot less material than aving the led support in one piece. Just push it in the holes, it will have a tight fit, but you can also add a drop of super glue so it will never go out.3. TopLED.stl: this piece goes on the top side of the ring, and this also has a tight fit in the holes like the side piece. This is longer than the side one in order to have the camera lens right in the middle of the ring and have a perfect illumination of the print while printing.4. BottomLED.stl: like the TopLED, but this goes on the lower side (but I know you know it already). The ring have a tight fit on this three pieces, so you don't need any glue or other stuff! With this modular design you can also edit it in order to use the LED ring you already have, just edit the 3 pieces that hold the ring using your dimensions and put them in the holes! This is a remix from the model 3081838 on Thingiverse, but the person who made this didn't upload it on MyMiniFactory so I cannot use his reference here. I also put here the other two pieces you will need, the focus ring and the backplate, but I will apreciate if you can go on the original model link and also thank him for the original model! Let me know if you like it, if you print one yourself (maybe upload aphoto, I'll really appreciate it!), and also consider checking the otherstuff I make on my profile. I'm still learning how to model things, butI have lots of ideas and I'll upload them soon! If you also want to make a tip to me, I will really appreciate it, andI'll think about continue making this stuffs 'cause I will know thatsomeone likes my design!

I'm a maker, student and "learner". I love creating things with my hand, and I love the idea of using a 3D printer to help me make it. I like drawing and designing things on the PC and on a piece of paper. I'm not that good at the moment, but since I started I'm improving a lot (maybe...)
