A part of a bird playing field I've designed. There are important things you should know before printing these for your bird. Please read carefully. Bird Safety! There is no guaruntee that you will print these models with bird-safe filament nor machine. These models are considered "Supervised toys". You have to stay with your bird while they play with these models. Do not let your bird chew on them. A bit of curious nibble is ok, but a passionate chew to pieces is not. Do not coat it with anything especially spray paint. If you have to post-process it, only do sanding and/or annealing. Wash thoroughly after. About the models This is part of a collection of prints. Download and print only the item you need. Check the entire colelction at https://www.myminifactory.com/users/jarnMod/collection/jarnmod-s-bird-toys-collection This model is only the bowl Note on this particular model The open bowl is just a cup that you can put food or small amount of water in it. If you plan to put water in it, I recommend you anneal the print with hot air to melt the bowl enough to ensure no leak. I design it with enough infill that if you put 100% zigzag infill, it should be waterproof, but to make sure you can anneal with heat. Do not burn the model. If it turns black, you heat it too much it's cooked. Cooked filament may flake out and not good for birds. Note on installation To use it, you will need a floor box, a floor plate, and a pole. This bowl is on top of the pole. Put the bowl over the locking mechanism Align the hold to the angle you need Insert a 1.75 filament into the hole and cut to length(Do not leave excess filament. Birds tend to get curious and chew on it) Turn the parts 90 degree and insert another filament in a hole. This should create a X lock inside Of course you can just put the part onto the pole without locking. This can be useful if you want the part to turn around sometimes.
