This BB-9E astromech droid design is inspired by "Star Wars: The Last Jedi". BB-9E has his first appearance on "The Supremacy" the capital flag ship of the First Order seen in the movie. I spent several hours studying reference photos of BB-9E from the movie to make sure these .STLs are the most accurate you can find for printing.   Features:   Easy to print, almost no overhangs.   Opening on bottom of head to allow air to escape and draw in as Echo is either removed or placed in. This feature keeps the Echo from being suctioned into place.   Large port opening for power and aux cable, no worry of damaged cables.   Near perfect tolerances built into design (0.25mm).   Bottom half of body has resevoir if you want to add weight to the design.   Head has spot for a 10 x 2 mm magnet to hold it firmly in place. (Magnet will not negatively effect Echo Dot, I have tested to make sure).   Lid has hole in center so Alexa can still hear you.   Stand ensures model will not roll around, but can be replaced with a small ring instead if you do not wish to print the stand.   Here's a link to the magnets I purchased to construct my model: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0753ZPBLQ/ref=ppxyodtbasintitleo09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1   Note: This design is on the large side which is why I split it up the way I did. I own an Ender 3 (print bed is 230 x 230 mm) so all these parts fit in that size. Anyone with a smaller print volume will need to cut these parts into smaller chunks. Let me know if you'd like these resized for you, I'd be happy to do it if this design gains any attention. Also please excuse my terrible paint job!
