Free British & German samples for my upcoming Kickstarter Battleground 1940: Blitzkrieg, which releases on September 27th.There's a very detailed project preview here on my Tribe which you can read if you want to learn the full contents. The figures are natively scaled at 6mm, but are designed to print up to 15mm while looking decent. The models are intended to print straight on the build plate without added supports, though you may want to add supports if scaling beyond 10mm. I've a video guide on how to print these miniatures at 15mm here. For printing at 15mm: I'd recommend scaling the figures to 200% on the Z axis and 185% on the X/Y, as well as sinking them 0.8mm into the build plate (so the base remains 0.8mm thick). While the miniatures are intended to print without added supports at 6mm, a couple may be advised at larger scales. I have included a rescaled STL and Lychee Scene to serve as an example of a 15mm figure. The five infantry figures are part of the Core pack, while the Tank Commander is part of the "Vehicle & Crew" add-on. This add-on includes drivers and passengers for a variety of vehicles, as well as tank cupolas that I have altered with open hatches and included, with permission, from free packs by TigerAce1945 and m_bergman. The turret included here is for an A11 Matilda, and the rest of the vehicle can be downloaded here. Note that it is natively scaled for 1:100. To match the commander, you will to scale the model(s) accordingly.Note that you should mate the Commander with his turret in your slicer before printing, per this tutorial (I intend to put out another one specifically about tank commanders, and will update this link once I've done so). Please make sure the bottom of the Commander is fully clipping into the turret. In my opinion, the best scale for the turret and tank is 48.5% (1:206), if you want to match the infantry, but you can scale both the turret and commander down further if you want true 1:285. Please note that these models are prototypes and, if you're scaling them up, I would recommend running an island scan in your slicer (I'd run a "Normal" scan for 6mms and "Detailed" for 10mm+ in Lychee).
