A set of bases useful for many popular 15-18mm historical wargames. These bases have 8x1mm rebates which readily accept any of my pre-based miniatures. Magnets: These bases have holes which can accept a 3x1 or 3x1.5mm magnet, allowing the use of a simple sheet metal (tinplate or steel) sabot to keep your formations together and make movement on the table more convenient when fielding large units. Installation of magnets is simple; providing minimal shrinkage and effective washing of the printed part, magnets should be a snug push fit. If printing at 50 microns, there will be a four layer thick membrane at the base of the hole which neatly contains the magnet while allowing for it to be very close to metal surfaces below. Printing: The bases are offered in two variants, one for FDM printers, and another set with a beveled underside which allows them to be printed directly against the build plate of an SLA printer (the bevel helps to counteract the 'elephant's foot' effect). Sizes: All bases are 3mm thick, and have the following dimensions: 20x25mm Single miniature (Commanders etc.) 20x25mm Two miniatures (Skirmish base) 20x25mm Two rank, two file 30x25mm Two rank, three file 40x25mm Two rank, four file 60x25mm Two rank, six file

About the author:
MicronMiniatures
Micron Miniatures is focused on bringing traditional historical tabletop wargaming in to a new era. Thanks to the advent of home 3D printing, it has never been easier to raise huge armies for ancient, medieval and black powder age wargames - what better way is there to try out the wealth of quality rule sets which have been published since Von Reisswitz first threw down dice over two hundred years ago! I sculpt in my spare time between working and studying to finish a Doctor of Medicine, your purchases from my store go towards the tuition costs, textbooks and site fees which come with the undertaking - contributions for which I will be forever greatful. I am always looking for ideas and feeback so don't hesitate to contact me if you have any comments or questions - I love hearing from other makers, historians and wargamers! Thank you for visiting my page, and I hope you enjoy printing and painting my sculpts as much as I have enjoyed producing them. Cheerio, Micron Miniatures
