This is a set of 3d printable bases and pegs for supporting ships for the game A Billion Suns.  This set of pegs is compatible with all my ABS fleets that I've designed and published, but can be used in any fleet with a 3mm hole in the bottom.  A file to use as a boolean to create your own peg hole in a 3d model is included. The pegs are 3mm square and come in a variety of lengths to allow for different ships to be mounted at different heights. This allows for a more dynamic looking fleet, and can help ships fit closer together when needed.  I deliberaly chose a square profile to help ships stay oriented facing front. The pegs with the angled tops are for fitting multiple small craft on the 3 hole bases to form a small wing of ships, fighters for example, in a more dynamic pose.  I've also included some peg toppers that can serve a similar purpose, with a 3mm hole in the base to mount on top of a peg. Since 3d printers can vary a bit in final dimensions, especially FDM printers, I've also included a set of slightly undersized pegs at 2.8mm. The bases include a 180 marker (the sun/star shape) and a V groove for the firing arc.  There is a small notch at four points, with an extra marker for the front to make it clear which way the ship is pointing.  Some of the larger bases come with 3 holes in a line, to help support the larger ships that use these bases.  I also included single hole versions as well in case your ship design doesn't need 3 holes. Notes: I added some pegs with flat tops to glue to the bottom of ships without existing holes. Here are some of the areas that I've enjoyed making models in for games I like, or want to play. Gaslands I've created lots of weapons, and terrain for this awesome game. I see lots of room for creative additions that interest me. Frostgrave/Mordheim/Rangers of Shadow Deep I love this type of tabletop fantasy skirmish war-gaming, where you can set up a quick table and play a fun game with miniatures. I've got a lot of ideas for more terrain here. There are plenty of great games out there that could use this type of terrain. This is Not A Test Mutants/Wasteland/Survival! Yes, I love this Fallout inspired game, and want to build out terrain for my table to play. (If I could find people to play that is) Tabletop Board games I've actually published a couple games so far, and plan to keep designing board games. You can find my game Dice of Crowns, and the sequel Dice of Pirates on Thing12Games.com and Amazon.com. I love board games! I like making upgrades, and additions for games I play, as well creating my own. D&D/Dice Collecting I am an avid fan of dice. I love dice. I collect all sorts of dice for fun. I've created a number of "dice accessories" for the collector, and player. I also run a D&D game with my son and his friends so I have ideas for supporting that hobby too. I even created a set of unique polyhedral printable dice. I've done a lot of research into 3D printable dice and fairness as well. As you can see... I've got lots of ideas. Too many sometimes. I make models of the things that interest me, and share them with people. I love seeing people print and enjoy the models I make. Badger http://patreon.com/sablebadger
