I needed a landing pod for my modular battlefield board that looks like crashed, so I made one. And I needed it to be printable on an FDM machine, so it is. Now, if I only figure out how to design a modular socket to make it actually "crashable"... Anyway: Print Base - Bottom.stl on its flat top. Use supports, but add support blockers for wing sockets and door hinge holes. All the other pieces require no supports at all, but print them always on their flat side. Doors and Wings are made of two pieces each, and must be glued together. The same goes for Top Mount. There are some minor problems with this model, like some overhangs, but since every piece is rather small, it will print rather OK. The only issue I've found is that if your printer prints larger layers, you may not be able to actually glue the Base together, there will be a bit of space between the Bottom and Top of the base. So I decided not to glue it, but instead the two pieces of the base are held together by the wings glued within their base sockets. Refer to the image to learn how to assembly the pod.
