This relief may represent a child holding the branches of what seems to be a pine tree. This child perfectly corresponds to the idealistic aesthetic characteristics of beauty in Ancient Greece. His round-shaped body, his full figure and his curly hair are typical of the representation of children at that time. Those features will be used by the Romans as well, in the representation of the "putti" and the Cherubs, those small winged child-angels.
