A selection of (strong) jointers that I designed for my prototype 3D printer, which have many uses . Size test using printer test STL and scale as required (shrinkage, printer accuracy etc.) The printer WILL have spool compartment to keep moisture out. Design is on going. Belt drive has 3 possible options at present. The object is to get the bed with a minimum of movement by using it on the Z axis, to reduce mass and inertia. All rapid movements on the X-Y axes, One drive arrangement uses a single belt to achieve both directions but involves one drive motor being on a carriage, which is counter-productive. But, as an excercise it can be done without going to the tripod arrangement which is very restrictive and needs special computation. Have included an image of intended design plus other component parts. Built around Bigtreetech Pro wifi board with stealth steppers, 3 filament print head, Bigtreetech LCD. All designed to not need supports. 4 mm tee nut and 10mm long screw required per section.
