Use at your own risk, modifying footpads can lead to mid-ride failure if they break or do not make a solid connection. Purchased a WIP VESC modded Onewheel Pint where the footpad connector had been cut off and discarded. Wanted to use the stock connectors so modelled my own to replace it since they're not easy to come by. I did model a "print in place" version of the tip where the locking sleeve is retained by the connector but it's a bit tricky to print with supports that requires fine tools to free up. Overall not a fun experience so instead they are seperate STL files that can be seperated every 1/2 turn.   ----   To create the contacts you'll want to use 1mm outer diameter brass tube with a 0.8mm inner diameter. I've found this gives a snug enough fit around the pins. To insert get a 1mm diameter metal rod and put it in the chuck of your drill then use that to make sure the holes are all wide enough to later take the more delicate brass tube. When done do the same with the brass tube but be careful not to bend it or crush the end of the tube. Feed the wire through the casing and solder them up to the brass tubes. If you're able to keep the ends open you can make a better connection when soldering by feeding the wire into the tube. Apply some hot glue to keep them in place and add some into the casing before closing it up till the casing completely seals the wires up and ideally full of hot glue that will set and make a strong bond.
