Should you need a mecha with more bite than bark, Lucy has you covered.[UPDATE 3/3/2023 - I updated the two whole-object stls since I discovered a small missing part. This did not affect any of the supported part stls.] Although I included single-piece stls for both poses, the model is better printed in three pieces: torso with arms, lower “jaw,” and legs with two pose options (standing and walking). If using in situations that would normally call for 30mm bases, I recommend printing at an overall model height of 45mm. This puts it at a good size relative to other models on that scale while not having the toes hang too far off the edge. You can use the single-piece stls for each pose to help determine how much to scale the pieces for the size model you want. Supported chitubox files are provided for all parts for an overall height of 45mm, with an additional “extra supports” option for the torso should you run into a failure with the sparser supports or if you have to print in a colder room etc. The supports I have used may seem excessive in all cases but it’s based on my own experience printing the model. I recommend using snips to trim away the supports on the bottoms of the feet, on thinner parts of the model, and for the thicker supports on the underside of the extra-supports torso version. Most of the other supports can be pushed/pulled away more easily without any special tools. Files included: lucymecha45mmallpartssupported.chitubox – all parts presupported for 45mm model height lucymechatorsoadditionalsupports.chitubox – alternative heavier supports for torso piece lucymechajaw45mm.stl – jaw piece unsupported lucymechatorsoandarms45mm.stl – torso piece unsupported lucymechalegsstanding45mm.stl – standing legs unsupported lucymechalegswalking45mm.stl – walking legs unsupported lucymechastanding.stl – entire model unsupported in standing pose lucymecha_walking.stl – entire model unsupported in walking pose
