This was a quick little project I've been meaning to get to for a while. I noticed that certain "fancy" toothpicks (of the sort meant for serving appetizers) where just the right size and shape for 1:18 scale axe handles. So I made a few varieties of axe heads, all meant to be combined with a toothpick to make a proper chopping / throwing implement for your figures. To finish the axes, you'll need toothpicks. Ideally, they should have a round cross-section, and some stylish details at the end. I picked up a container full for a whopping 0.49 cents at a variety shop in my neighborhood. Once you have the heads printed, trim down the toothpick to the length you want. You'll also have to shave down the end a bit to get it to fit into the hole in the print. That's intentional, as it provides a nice press fit. Just shave a bit off with a knife, try pushing it into the head, and rinse and repeat until you get a finished axe.
