Dilophosaurus is a genus of theropod dinosaur. It contains a single known species, Dilophosaurus wetherilli, known from fossil remains found in the Kayenta formation of Arizona. This rock formation has been dated to the early Jurassic Period (Sinemurian age), about 193 million years ago. Dilophosaurus was among the largest predatory dinosaurs of its time, and is notable for having a pair of rounded crests on its skull. The model I made was created with a little help from the Jurassic Park film where I took most of my reference. Although most pictures show this dinosaur without the large frill around its face I wanted to produce the model from the film.
