This is a strap mount for a Mokacam that uses a 3/4" x 1/8" magnet to secure the Mokacam!  This is meant to make the Mokacam easily accessible while still keeping it secure during daily use. Inspiration:For someone who owns a mirrorless camera, I'm probably the worst photographer ever.  Not because I'm bad (though no promises there), but rather because I don't take pictures.  When I find something I want to take a picture of, it takes way too much time to take my camera out of my bag, take the camera out of it's case, turn the camera on, remove the lens cap, and finally take the picture.  In my opinion, that's 5 steps too many.Seeing Mokacam for the first time here on MyMiniFactory, I was immediately grabbed by the magnetic mount on the back.  The magnet gives the Mokacam valuable accessibility that in my opinion sets it apart from similar cameras.  There's no tools required, no layers of protection, just simply detach the Mokacam and capture your image or video.   Having the Mokacam magnetically attached to my backpack or headband seemed like a way to solve the problems I had with my mirrorless camera: there's no cases or bags to dig through, no tools to remove or play with, just the camera whenever I need it.Design Goals:To make this part work, it needs to be strong, low profile, and able to successfully retain the Mokacam.   Low Profile: By keeping the part to 6mm thick and modeling 45 degree chamfers around the path of the strap, the mount and camera sit low against whatever strap they are secured to.  The angle of these chamfers allow the mount to be printed without any supports. Strength: Printing at 80% infill while keeping most geomertry at approximately 4mm thick, the mount is incredibly rigid and I had to apply a lot of force to break the strap arm. Mokacam Retention: I'm unaware of the specs of the Mokacam's magnet, but I'm assuming it's pretty strong.  The magnets in the Parts section have a pull force of 9.2 pounds ensuring a strong attraction.  Alternatively, a steel washer as below can probably be used.  If found that the Mokacam tends to slide off the magnet to the sides, short flanges could easily be modeled to retain it in place. Parts:To print this part, print supportless at 80% infill.  This ensures an incredibly rigid part that is still flexible enough to mount to a strap. To assemble this part, you'll need one 3/4" x 1/8" disc magnet or metal disc.  In addition, you'll need to mount it to the printed part using adhesive.  I recommend the following magnets from Apex magnets: https://www.apexmagnets.com/3-4-x-1-8-disc-magnets-adhesive-backed (Can I have a link here? If not, let me know and I can remove it)My Own Notes:I had a good time modeling and iterating on this part and it was an interesting project to think about.  I'm looking forward to playing around with magnets more in my future designs.
