As I am making my 3d printed spacehulk tileset, I wanted the flamer effect to be a LED operated fire model. Didn't find exactly what I wanted so I made it myself. I wanted the flame to fit my 80% scale Dragon's Rest HVAC Tunnel set corridors and rooms, so anything larger it should fit easily. The flame is approx. 32mm base figure sized. Should fit either 3mm or 5mm standard 3V led bulb. I used a 3mm flickering yellow bulb I found from eBay. The battery space is made for a standard CR2032 lithium cell. It is also possible to source a tealight for parts, although the led wires can be a bit short. But I have seen it done succesfully. For the led & battery unit I remixed this model from thingiverse and improved and minimized it to fit my own needs:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:525799 I suggest you to print also the battery/led-casing with transparent filament so that there won't be such a dark blob visible inside and the light disperses better. You can also try printing the flame with just one perimeter and with a very minimal (5-10%) infill. On Cura the lightning infill has proven good. I made my latest flames with 0.15mm layers and 5% gyroid infill (gives nice flamelike internals) in Prusaslicer. In my pictures there was still 15% infill with 2 perimeters. No supports needed, just used a brim. But it's a matter of taste - thicker shell actually makes more even dispersion of light, making it more flamelike, while thinner makes it more glass-like and lets more light emitted to surroundings.PS. I did not make any real attachments for the flame onto led-unit. Just a small dot of blue-tac and it holds it's place nice. By scaling the flame just a tiny bit you could make it a friction lock, if you want. (But would need some extra experimentation.) There is also a "slot" in the bottom of the flame that the battery unit needs to be placed in right orientation. Should be a loose fit.
