Used and loved the Z Brace by spool3d_canada, but found that once I started using an enclosure front mounted Z Braces got in the way. Following the lead of FilamentCorner's z Brace and z Extensions (Z-Kit) http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2012743, I decided to make a hybrid design that moved the braces to the back of the printer so as to be out of the way. All of this is based on AzzA's original work which can be found here http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1444979. The major differences of my design are the modifications to the single screw holes on the feet for the Duplicator I3 Plus. I also extended the feet design to project out farther to the sides so that I could utilize the tower side mounts made by FilamentCorner. Finally I added a space to mount an SD card extension cable on the front right foot of the printer so that I didn't have to fumble loading the SD card on the side of the printer. Parts other than 3d printed: 5/8 threaded rod - (2) 18" pieces (4) 5/8 nut (2) 5/8 washer (2) 5/8 nylon nut longer screws where necessary to attach to the frame (M5 10-15 I believe) SDHC SD Card Reader Extension Cable KZ-B19 FPC UNIVERSAL No incorporation of self leveling feet or such as it's pretty stable as is, but I may add those later. Mounting the SD card holder required drilling and roughing out the screw holes manually after printing. My only real issue right now is that the angle on the side brackets doesn't allow for having a nut on the threaded rod on each side of the bracket. Perhaps going to a thinner rod would allow it. That said, the angle makes this thing pretty rock solid as is, so waiting to see if that's necessary.
