XT60 is by far my favorite lipo connector. The single issue I have with the connector is that I have not found a female XT60 connector that can be be mounted to something. I do not like having battery leads dangling out of my multicopters. I want the connectors to be mounted properly on the frame. The physical shape of the XT60-connector makes it difficult to make a good holder for it. There is next to nothing to hold on to to prevent the connector from being pulled out together with the battery contact. Since I have not found any holder that I like I have made one myself. My design is for a compact holder that actually manages to provide a steady grip by utilizing the only gripable surface available on the connector: the square cuts on the sides at the bottom of the connector. The holder should be printed with a relatively high infill so that it does not collapse when the screws are tightened. 75-80% should be fine. If you want to keep the weight down as much as possible, you only use the upper part of the holder. This makes it possible to save a few mm of screw on each side and the lower part itself. Using both the upper and lower part will provide an even firmer hold on the connector. If you scale the mount to 65% of the original, it will fit XT30 connectors. M2 screws should fit the downscaled holes. irun4fundotca has been kind enough to publish pictures of his scaled mount here:http://www.thingiverse.com/make:134242
