WebCam X Carriage mount. Hinged for WebCam Angle. WebCam X Carriage Bracket. Adjustable Head Bracket to set the angle of the WebCam. Design has a hinge to set the WebCam angle. * This is to fasten a Web Camera to the X Carriage. Fastens to my X Carriage, moves with carriage, does not give much space between bed and top of carriage. May not fit your 3D printer.. Has insert for the hex bolt head so that it should not turn when position is set and the Kurl nut, 4mm, is tighten up. Grips, (star shaped), on the inside edges may not print too well but there roughness will help stop the hinge moving once tighten. Takes 4mm hex head bolt, 55mm long, The file "Head8mmholehingedWebCamXCarriage_Mount.stl" has a hole in for my "Creative Labs IM LiveCam" Has timing belt grips for a 5mm pitch timing belt with the teeth pointing into the model. These timing belt grips have slots for the bolts so may be snugged down then moved before final tighting of the Timing belt. NOTES: Make sure you WebCam and any cables will fit without knocking into anything e.g. on my feeder I have a Bowden Tube to feed filament from a box into that feeder. When my carriage is raised high and to the left this unit, with Creative Labs IM LiveCam, catches the tube and knock it. NOTE as this the WebCam is angled the WebCam can be made closer to the print bed, so a careful balance between WebCam angle and WebCam height distance from the Print Bed is needed. A lot depended on the height of the Web Camera. The Creative Labs IM LiveCam, (8mm hole head model), I use gets about 2mm from the print bed surface.Remember also a change in the nozzel height will have an impact, even Z-Probe could impact, as their is only the distance from the Print Bed to the Top of the carriage to mount the Web Camera in. I use YawCam for remote steaming of a 3D print to help keep an check that no major issues are happening with the 3D print. This software does not give control of the 3D printer. YawCam. Yet Another WebCAM software, remote viewing via web browserhttp://www.yawcam.com 3D Printing this:-WebCam X Carriage Hinged Bracket Iteration 4https://youtu.be/vjXpCkMHuuI WebCam X Carriage Bracket Iteration 2 Fuller YawCam Test, using an earier iteration of the X Carriage WebCam Mounthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtO9kWhLMu8 Note I now am using a Guudgo GD-SC03 Snowman 1080P Cloud Wifi Ip Camera Pan&Tilt‎, Banggood, ( https://www.banggood.com/GUUDGO-GD-SC03-Snowman-1080P-Cloud-WIFI-IP-Camera-p-1182285.html? ), instead propped up behind my Print Bed.. Note online Storage of files is free for only 15 days, but I can still view mine remotely PC website link or mobile phone, (It does not have an IP address but a website address and can store files to SD card, I would say the video quality is OK, but not the best).
