We at FFFTech hate people... absolutely despise them. They leave crumbs all over the damn carpet! They defecate everywhere! They're just downright DIABOLICAL! And we know you hate them too, fellow customer! That's why we have JUST the product for YOU! Introducing the IPi V3! Just like the previous model, this camera works by wirelessly streaming video from the camera to other devices such as laptops, desktops, virtually any kind o' top! Using motionEyeOS, you can connect with the device's IP address, and peep on creeps from the comfort of your home! (Version 3 should have it's camera upgraded to Pi Camera V2 or Pi NoIR V2) The IPi V3 takes the best features of V1.5 and V2. Version 1.5 had an accessible MicroSD card, and could swivel on all axis, but the ball and socket wore out fast and it became too loose. Version 2 has a sturdier base, swiveling was simplified, and the camera stayed in it's pointed position. Unfortunately it could only swivel side to side, and the MicroSD card was inaccessible. Version 3 has an arm that rotates and allows the camera to pitch while staying in its pointed position. The MicroSD card is also accessible. Because of these features, the base can be mounted in any position! Due to the design intent on security, the IPi V2 should be printed in a color the closely matches it's surroundings, or at least Black, to make it more difficult to see in darker environments. But YOU can print it in any color you want; from: "There'sa storm a'comin'!" Grey, all the way to "I'm Mr. Meeseeks!" Powder Blue! So hide from them crumb dropping, poop plopping, people! About the author:
FFFTech
From the Empire State; FFFTechnology is an undertaking to bring common use, open source hardware to the masses. Everything designed has a function, with little care for frill; while using just the right amount of material to get the job done. All designs are tested about a month's time before uploading, so nobody has to feel like a beta tester when they just want a tool that works. You'll find designs from a variety of fields; from domestic usage models like coat hooks, table lamps, and door wedges; to more "specialty" models like the E-Vise Series, Raspberry Pi enclosures, and the IPi Security Camera Series. Everything on this site, my own site, and Prusa Printers are 100% open source. Everything here is free to download and share with others as you see fit.
