This past Christmas, I needed a present for a picky friend that is really into vintage thingss. The idea I came up with was to recreate the style of bank vault that my late grandfather used to make. They use 'small' 5" x 3 5/8" sized doors commonly made by Corbin or Ranco (usually $10-20 on ebay or Etsy depending on style and quality). Additionally, you will need (4) 1/2in screws and (4) 1 1/2in screws for construction.

Hey! I'm an amature maker-painter-nerd who has a little too much time on their hands. I dabble in just about everything making related but am far from an expert on anything. My first two printers are FDM type and I recently got into DLP with my photon. My favorite part about printing is incorporating it with electronics prototyping (like Arduinos or trinkets) to bring my creations to the next level. I do a little modeling with a couple different programs and I have a couple models that I'm proud of but I'm by no means proficient in it.
