Description: A sweetmeat or supper dish set in Irish delftware. The largest dish is octagonal in shape with a wavy edge, it is the base for a set of five other dishes (HCL 037-HCL 041). The dishes are decorated with blue floral motifs. The five smaller dishes interlock, they consist of a central dish with four around it, each curved in a quarter of an arc. The entire set is a direct copy of a Chinese design. Date Made: 18th century AD
