UPDATE Unfortunately, the top plate of this model was missing the hole for the main spindle. I have now corrected this and uploaded the new part. Sorry for the error. I got this idea from a toothbrush holder that I saw on Pintrest. Basically, when you place your phone on the bottom holder the 2 grips either side will close onto your phone gripping it tight. You will also need a small spring from a pen. This is my basic design, I am planning other more fun designs. I have designed a stand that fits into the screw holes if you don’t want to wall mount it, but I haven’t printed it yet so have not posted the stl’s. I will post this as soon as I have test printed it, but in the meantime if anyone wants the stand, message me and I can send the stl to you.

I always wanted to be a draftsman and have always had a passion for designing things. I started my life as a cabinet maker, so love making things, whether it’s out of paper, cardboard, wood or plastic. I am a keen crafter and amateur book binder. I love computers and consider myself very computer literate. I have taught IT, built my own PC’s, repaired PC’s and worked in IT for a short while. So it was only natural that considering my background I would move into 3D printing. I consider myself a novice, but am learning new techniques every day and love the fact that there seems to be a whole community just for 3D printing. What a wonderful place to learn and share my work with like minded people.
