In order to ge the piston to fit and be able to slide, I used a piece of 3m double sided tape to line the inside of the caliper where the piston sits. DO NOT TAKE THE SECOND PROTECTIVE TAPE OFF OR YOUR PISTON WILL NOT MOVE. Slide the piston in and it should be able to move with a little bit of pressure.  To get the brakes to work I stuck a small hose fitting using superglue (make sure it is air tight) and did the same thing on the other end with a regular water bottle. When you squeeze the water bottle, the piston should slide out.    *Please remember this is not the final product. Designed this working model of a Hub and brake assembly. The model is made to fit around a 608z skateboard bearing. This is still a work in progress and will need finer adjustments if needed. Made for a project and to be used for educational purposes. Good Luck! :)
