If you're going to design parts for your Prusa 3D printer, you might as well have a PC that matches it on which to do your design work.My second entry for the #pimpmyprusa design competition, this case is designed around a Mini-ATX motherboard using an external power brick power supply such as the PICO. Unfortunately this model will not allow for an expansion video card so make sure your motherboard has decent onboard graphics. I used the following parts as my design templates - CPU: Intel - Core i3-8100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor ($118.89 @ OutletPC) CPU Cooler: be quiet! - Shadow Rock Slim 67.8 CFM Rifle Bearing CPU Cooler ($45.88 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: Asus - ROG STRIX B360-I GAMING Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard ($123.47 @ Amazon) Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-2400 Memory ($194.89 @ OutletPC) Storage: Samsung - 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($247.99 @ Amazon) Total: $731.12Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when availableGenerated by PCPartPickerAll orange pieces are snap fit and my require some filing depending on your printers tolerances. If you are like me and hate filing parts, you could try printing at 99% scale. I designed with "better too tight than too loose" in mind. If you do build a system in this case I would love to see a picture.
