How it works : https://youtu.be/spw1ihSzrZo Hello all, I designed this flying extruder mod for my BIQU printer because it's far better for avoid extrusion problems with long PTFE tube and flexible filaments, now the tube are only 70mm long before it was 650mm This can avoid problems with too many retractions, avoid flexible filaments extrusion, avoid filament bend in tube, etc..... I designed that for my BIQU Kossel Pro printer, but it can work with any delta printers with 20x20 aluminium profile and with standard linear guide(maybe need to change pendulum size, if you need other size, ask me and I will make other sizes) Follow carefully instructions for a good result ! What you need : (many things are already on your printer)-print all my stl :p-40mm stepper motor-625 bearing / x2-M2x4 hex screw / x12-M5x30 hex screw and M5 nut / x2-M4x8 hex screw and T-nut (boat nut) / x2-M3x14 hex screw / x2-4 (depend on your extruder type)-Elastic tensioner or sewing Elastic-rope or very thin steel cable INSTRUCTIONS :-mount the extruder on the extruder support and weight them, find something with the same weight (I found a 1306K bearing that has exactly the same weight) you can use bolts, nuts or even print a weight!-mount the carriage supports-mount the pendulum-cut an approximately 130mm PTFE tube (60mm inside the extruder and 70mm ouside)-find the center of gravity using the notches created for this purpose in the extruder support-install the weight and the extruder on the pendulum with the rope and (don't use anything elastic !) and plug in the PTFE tube /// IMPORTANT : move the extruder from up to down with hand and verify if the rope is long enought or not too long !!-attach the elastic stretchers or sewing elastic to the three arms of the extrusion support (I used hard steel wire to secure them)-attach the other side of elastics to the carriage supports while trying to tighten them a little so that the extruder remains in the center !-I attached the extruder to the delta center with cable ties to avoid that the tube holder does not force (you can see white cable ties on photos)-think to like or say thanks if you love them, and share your made one :))) I can not be held responsible if something broke or if the printer self-destructs !!! this awesome and cheap printer can be ordered here :p https://goo.gl/83UBDp (not sponsored link, I just love this printer :p If you have any suggestions or questions, do not hesitate to contact me
