This is a slightly different version of Lamp-Poly1. The only change was to fillet the corners of the pentagon so it had a more organic shape. The print took slightly more than 17 hours with a layer height of 0.200 mm. For this print I used dark blue PLA filament and the 2 photos show the lamp in daylight with the light off and in a dark closet with the light on. I think a lighter color filament is a better choice - see Lamp-Poly1 for an example. This table lamp is designed to work with a "puck" battery operated LED light source. The lamp sits on top of a standard 68mm/2.75" diameter LED puck light that is powered by 3 AAA batteries. I bought 3 of these lights at Lowes for $9.98 batteries included.
