This is a submission for the Esso #FuelingInnovation Contest.Click here to see the windmill in action!I designed this print based on windmills you might see at a farm or in a backyard. You will need a 608 Bearing. I ripped one out of a cheap fidget spinner and it works great. You will also need 1 250ml red bull style can.You will need to print one of each file PLUS 7x the wing file.Assembly Instructions:1) Print the files per the printing instructions (one of each plus 7 of the wings). 2) Slide the can into the ring mount until it is on their like the attached photo.3) Push the 608 bearing into the topcap.4) Attach the wings to the nosecone. You may need to glue them in OR add tape to the ends so they fit snugly in the nose cone.5) Push the shaft into the nose cone.6) Attach the nose cone assembly with the shaft into the bearing.7) Slide the nosecone plus topcap onto the can.8) Attach the tail cap onto the opposite end of the can with the fin pointing upwards parallel to the ringmount's shaft.9) Slide the shaft into the stand.10) Take it outside and watch it go!
