Access my youtube video for a 3D modeling tutorial: https://youtu.be/tXDUVbdg-bE?t=130    In Argentina a group called "El club de los reparadores", the Fixer's club, keep all kind of house devices, blenders, mixers, musical keyboards, working, for free. To keep the trash can from receiving another device, to keep a house utility still usefull. That gave me the idea of this project, to repair a small device, and in the process, learn the concepts and fundamentals of reverse engineer, design thinking, design for 3D print. For this activity we are going to use a very cheap toy, because it is very easy to be found in Argentina, South America, and also, good to be used both in high school or university levels. UPDATEDAfter having the car ready, I started to make it better, first was the aesthetic of the car, making it closer to the original look. Then, I made it easier to be 3D Printed, using less support and making it faster to print, but, why stop here? The V3 version is currently underway to have a sollar panel and 2 micro servo motors on the rear gear, so the car can have self propusion and go on, straight line. in V4, I will add some controler using bluetooth and arduino (and android, why not), so we can control the car directions. Please, let me know if you like this design and if it is going in the right direction.
